When the Marsapalooza group came to us, they had one goal. They wanted
to give children an interactive way to explore the galaxy and explore
planets. They knew that they wanted a presence in schools and in
science-related school activities, but they weren't sure how to go
about it.
We developed their display to have maximum impact with minimum
footprint. The monitor in the middle plays a presentation which is
changed out often with new presentations about exploring space or
exploring planets. We used a bubble effect in a window panel and also
over a 2 panel span to captivate the attention of the children.
As this was used in an educational environment, the display is being
constantly interacted with by children and needed to hold up to their
use. We did this by adding extra supports into the monitor and having
the display curve backward, creating more stability incase a careless
hand pushed on the display. It's been used successfully ever since.
